Description

In 2018, DTC Solutions and a manufacturer of industrial and commercial ventilation systems adopted a natural gas-fired cogeneration solution to improve their energy performance, reduce costs and simultaneously supply their demand for electricity and heat for component drying processes.

Two C65 natural gas-fired generating units were installed, configured to operate under a cogeneration scheme. The electricity generated is used for plant consumption, and the residual heat is channeled to the drying systems, improving the total utilization of the fuel.
